Guidance on key queries

June 2009 –  May 2010

1: Where is the centre of consciousness in the human body?

Our body has two centres of consciousness – one associated with the soul, and the other related to the consciousness regime controlling the body. Both manifest primarily in the subtle component of human spinal cord and brain forming Buddh body together (Str. Soul, fig 4.1). First of these is Jeevatma, dehi or migrant spirit, whichdeparts with the soul at death (Science of Cons. p. 178, fig. 9.2); and, the other supports the psyche in the body. The first is a psychic entity joining the attadhar-knot of soul and upper segment of head between brain and hair (Fig. 1) through consciousness-chord. The second is perceived as Brahm when the spiritattains its independence from the psyche in the body of a yogi. The second centre of consciousness, named mooladhar (Str. Soul, fig 4.1), is at the base of spinal cord. It is an important organ related to body and active during the operations of Tantra.

Based on the activity of Consciousness centres and their strength persons fall in five categories:  Brahmic or Yogi (luminous attadhar & Brahm-segment active), Happiness-imparting-positive type (luminous attadhar & manas-segment active), Unhappiness-imparting-negative type (non-luminous attadhar & manas-segment active), and body-active non-thinking type (mooladhar –brainstem active) who may be positive or negative.

2: What is ‘full-soul–consciousness’ in a person?

It is already documented in a Upanishad “That which is omniscient and all ‘knowledge-ful’ and its radiance (perceptible) as knowledge-like; and, from whom manifest Brahm (spirit), wisdom, body and ann (food or elixir of consciousness)”  [Mundakop. 1.1.9].

3: Where exists Brahm ranch in mind?

Mind is an equipment of instinct driven by sense and action organs in the concept of Sankhya.  Tantra sees it as an organ of emotion mainly under the control of hrit and manasthal (Str. Soul: Glossary-Antahkaran, 9, 15). It is not a physical entity.

Brahm is a perceptible and experiential ‘object’ (Science of Cons.p. 242-43) triggering intense activity in Cerebrum and Cerebellum of the brain, especially in ten-finger space (i.e., Behind Rolando fissure) as already documented during Vedic period.

5: Indian concept about states of consciousness

Commonly recognised states of consciousness among humans are four – first: awaken, second: dreaming, third:  deep sleep, fourth Samadhi.  An Upanishad refers Brahm as fifth state. In another Upanishad, state next or higher to Brahm is Braahman when a Brahm ‘dies’.  Ultra-egoless state of Upanishad or Purush state of Rigved lies above the Braahman state, however. Thus, the human consciousness is seen as dwelling in the seven shells, one under the other, in every man following a simple rule: lower conscious state shall remain ignorant about the next higher one beyond. Thus, common men know and lives within three states – deep sleep, dreaming and awaken; a Yogi adds fourth for himself – Samadhi; and, finally a Purush sees all the seven.

The higher states of consciousness developed during evolution for drawing of food of consciousness faster by a soul from the men around. A Brahm or enlightened man has the potential of drawing his ann or food of consciousness from annasthal (see Antahkaran 13) of the men around; a Braahman draws ann mainly from hrit of others; and, a Purush from any consciousness ganglion or body part of another person besides neutral consciousness or Praan from the atmosphere.

6: How fast a man can move from lower to higher states of Consciousness?

Movements form lower to higher states of consciousness have been a rather slow evolutionary change in our species; and, simple minds amenable to proselytising are seen as living in a state no better than Andamanese about 50,000 years ago.  These persons have conditioned minds engaged in acquisition of wealth or status and highly prone to commands by their religious masters.  They cannot think about higher states of Consciousness.  Strength of learning, logic, adherence to truth and renunciation are the basic faculties of higher and evolved spirits, driving some of us slowly towards Yog.  Unless one reaches Yogi State higher states are no more available to him; they are inaccessible for intelligence.

For a person already evolved close to Yogi State, strides in the progress towards higher states of consciousness are possible and he or she may reach to highest state in a span of a single life.

7: Is there any fast and simple method of sinking into Samadhi?

                Absolutely none!

However, an individual’s perfection of higher Pranayaam, that is completing 10 breaths in 15 minutes, may give a fair idea about his closeness to Samadhi. Pranayaam – Dhyaan – Samadhi are closely linked.  When one reaches perfection in Pranayaam (10 breaths in 15 minutes), Dhyaan (null-mind meditation) of short duration sets in automatically.  In a period of one year it reaches 10 t0 12 minutes; then, the duration increases rather slowly. Discontinue Pranayaam after Dhyaan crosses duration of 20 minutes. With regular practice one may reach Samadhi (null-mind meditation over 30 min.) in a year or two after discontinuing Pranayaam.

Most important for Pranayaam – Dhyaan – Samadhi is an agitation free mind and noise free environment. A pursuant should ensure them first before undertaking these higher practices of Yog.

8: Are higher states of consciousness real?

Yes, surely. Air is invisible but real not because it is felt as breeze alone; it is vital for life is our experience. We turn breathless in moments if it is not available to our lungs. So is also the experiential character of consciousness – invisible but a real stuff in the transactions of Brahm, Braahman and Purush states. A Brahm ‘eats’ ann perceptively from the annasthal of others; a Braahman avails consciousness from Kamaschet, Bhavaschet and Manaschet  of females as also males as the situation warrants; and, a Purush inhales  Praan (vital airs = neutral consciousness), through his cerebral hemispheres  of brain forced by the Buddh body, even if uncomfortable in doing so.

9: What to do with my dead wife’s possession?

Death is an unhappy event for most spirits and problematic for souls too unless one reaches enlightenment or Brahm state. Usual time gap between death and new life is 2 to 10 years, but occasionally it may span over 40 years too. During the period, called dehaantar, a spirit must subsist on the ann from the family members or close associates of the dead. If someone’s wife, parents or children are subsisting upon him or her as dehi or migrant spirit, it is quite natural. Sensitive people like the one sending the query feel such low-disturbance possessions.

Nothing is to be done in low possession cases of above type except giving ann and happiness to the spirits of the dead. Ann to the dead may be made available to the spirits through Vedic rituals.  Most persons, however, may go for it even without such rituals. Eating a dish for the dead, invoking a Vedic god like Sun or Siva with a prayer to help the dead to avail ann from the food being taken for the sake of the spirit, will do the same.

The parching spirits are often benevolent and extend peace and happiness to their supporting psyches. They guide and inspire their base-men in the moments of crisis and illness. It is good, therefore, to care for the parching spirits on the psychic self.

10:  Learning of Kamakhya mantra: – method.

Such mantras have usually only a few words are easy to memorise and recite in thousands for strengthening the operating power of mantra. A mantra, however, is not an assembly of words printed on a paper, recited by electronic device or a layman.  Mantra is usually ‘handed over’ by a proficient sacred person to a deserving individual who would not misuse the mantra for money and other allurements. This applies to Kamakhya mantra too.

Only recitations of a few mantras like Gayatri or Swasti, which are for self-purification and of non-Tantra type can be used by any person ‘pure at heart’ for swasti (well being) without any restrictions. Cast, creed or religion does not come in the way of the mantra-generated swasti strength.  Their energy flows from atta. The mantra-power matures no earlier than 100,000 repetitions of recitation by a teetotaller.  Those using intoxicants of any type are disqualified for mantra from a competent person.

11: Difficulty in movement is inhibiting my pilgrimage to Kamakhya Temple!

Don’t grieve on this count.  The consciousness regime is free of space-time; and, gods are available everywhere. They reward a devotee too as figuring in the case of Dr. Buddh Raj and Jain deity Rishabhdeo in the Gods.  Pray to the goddess Kamakhya wherever you are.  Be sure, benefits will come to you in the same quantum as your pilgrimage to her temple .

12: Goddess Swati of Catal Hoyuk: What do her leopards represent?

Swati was a goddess of night hunting people. Leopards are most powerful and treacherous animals between sunset and sunrise. The beasts were accordingly considered as the very   representatives of Swati’s power, treachery and command.

13: Astral sex:  possibility of any progeny?

Yes.  But, transactions between the conjugant relate mainly to giving energy to a spirit for berthing itself in a womb. The offspring may be in the womb of a physical independent of the astral pair.  The child   is related genetically to its physical parents.

14:  An outburst: “Higher states of consciousness are demoniac.”

Such angry, illogical and forceful outbursts evaporate large quantities of consciousness energy from an uncontrolled emotional mind like Seat-man (The Gods).

Be effortful to avoid such wasteful outflows of consciousness because consciousness is life and pretty precious. Also, there is instruction for those in Yogi State: “Don’t divert the minds of ignorant or less evolved worldly men; a wise Yogi should merely encourage them to do what they wish while continuing his own higher pursuit regularly”. There is an old saying too for him in context with such lowly or negative men: black blanket takes no other dyes, arrows never pierce through stones, and even God Brahma as a guru cannot turn a dull-head into an enlightened.  A wise yogi must keep away, therefore, from lowly evolved to save his own energy for faster growth of consciousness.

15: Self-inflicting auto-suggestive possession syndrome (SAPS):  mantra of goddess Kali    saves mother and daughter from collapse.

A SOS communication to Attadhisthanam from Chandigarh dated March 8 ’10 reads:

“Mother: – I am writing the letter to inform you that my daughter *** will be appearing for her B. Com. Final exams next month. Her exams will commence from April 3rd – 22nd April. As you know, last year she had dropped her exams   due to extreme fear... Though throughout the year she has studied well, but now suddenly she is losing her confidence.

Daughter: – I will be appearing for my final exams next month. I am extremely scared and not at all confident of clearing it.  Please help me by giving your blessings.

Mother: – While I was writing this letter to you, suddenly she has collapsed. Please do something; otherwise I am not going to survive. Please, I fall on your feet. “

Goddess Kali is most powerful deity of Bengalis. A Mantra of Kali was despatched on March 11 to the mother for warding off the crisis created by Self-inflicting auto-suggestive possession syndrome of her young daughter. Both followed the instructions about the mantra. The crisis blew over without creating any further problems for the mother and her child. Mantra of Goddess Kali proved more powerful than commanding force of alien spirit.

16: Properties of Soul in a man are reflected through his attitude and actions:

(From letter of Attadhisthanam dated 10.1.10, to Col. S.P. Wahi, Chairman (former), ONGC)

“Wahi phenomenon of management detailed in the book is on account of properties of soul in the subconscious, inner-self or psychic body and not the physical self and body-mind of a person – x, y or z trained in western methods of education. These are: manojav, valour, compassion and karmas.

Manojav  is reflected commonly as an individual’s ability to command the mind of other persons for doing or completing a job without using speech or other sensory methods of communication. An example is here:   “One day he (husband) went into a store while our two daughters and I waited in the car. I told them I hoped Daddy will buy a few things I had failed to mention…When he returned with all the right items, my daughter was impressed.”  (READERS DIGEST, Aug. 2007, p.194). Likewise was also an event in my life when Dr. Ramanathan had quipped three decades ago “Pandey rules in the office through seniors.” As an example, here, is an event of Jan. 1998 when three of my deserving Dy. GMs were left out in promotion while others had already joined on the new post. I telephoned to Mr. Jauhari Lal, then Dir. (P); and, a loving Vikas Bora (C & MD) promoted them within a week without a formal approval of Board members. Manojav level, Rigved tells, varies among the men of equal learning in the range of knee deep to swimming depth of a pond.

Valour is the property of courage to take on a charging Bull by its horns without crying for help. God Hanuman is an example. You have exemplified it at several places in your book.

Compassion , I saw, had a  living embodiment of Goddess Kaba, the deity of Compassion, on the Indian soil  till nineties  - Teresa. She only wrote “God bless you” with an overflowing love and signed the slip for anyone who wanted her autograph.  Compassion also varies among individuals like manojav.  I see you standing near her in a photograph and your “God bless you” on telephone too have a touch of the lady. I don’t know when you used her phrase first time. Without rapport with the master, righteousness and truth no one can communicate in the name of God with conviction for directly perceptible compassion.

Karmas have a rule ‘You reap as you sow’. You have harvested a rich crop of Sukrit done in your past lives as mentioned in my book.”

One may check the type of his own soul or subconscious self by analysing the four parameters within oneself during day to day transactions with others. A person may be a highly luminous soul like caring Col. Wahi or very dark like bristly Bully Brute of the gods, or in-between. Attitude to make others happy reflects solar-energy-backed luminous souls; their antis aredark souls of Bullys running abrasive cults of hate-harass-hit since 10,000 years.

‘Journey of souls’ and the gods parching upon them as their master-mentors or guides is continuing since long past – geological – along with the confrontation of luminous and dark gods.  Luminous god Vishnu commanded Wahi to sack Bully Brute from service of ONGC in April, 1999 (Gods, p. 175). Goddess Chamunda not only humbled and humiliated ONGC  C &MD Raha and his Director (Personnel) by mocking at them as mere pups  barking upon her unheeding  tiger in 2004 -05 (Gods, p.126-27), she also labelled Raha as a cheat and  devoured  him as her ann in May ‘06.

West is logging these days Journey of lower souls during past through regression and hypnosis. What Vedic people achieved in India was reaching to higher states of consciousness and  knowledge of their past in Braahman state, and chanting “Sun is great, giving away rays of virtuous valour; one under the Sun follows Him (Yajurved: 2.26). Consumerism and three world religions propagate only acquisition, opposed to giving away cult in the chanting above. Giving away luminous souls like Col. Wahi and Teresa are rare but you too may be there if you follow their luminous trait of Sun – giving happiness to others for strengthening four parameters of your soul. The cited persons belong to Happiness-imparting-positive type. This is the type that evolves into Brahmic or Yogi Category when renunciation of material, fame and glory matures in the mind. Yogis must bake themselves in tropical Sun near a large water-body for a few years for their faster growth; Gita is their best text-book for guidance; Siva is their universal guru: no human guru they need for their success.
